DHR–ICMR Sponsored National Workshop on One Health Research Announced at Pushpagiri Research Centre
Tiruvalla, Kerala: Pushpagiri Research Centre (PRC), Tiruvalla, will organize a five-day DHR–ICMR Sponsored National Workshop titled "Biomedical Innovations in One Health Research for Combating MDR/XDR Pathogens Through In-Silico, In-Vitro and In-Vivo Methodologies" from 8–12 September 2026 at the Conference Hall, PRC.
The workshop aims to provide participants with comprehensive exposure to translational biomedical research through an integrated approach encompassing computational biology (in-silico), laboratory-based experimentation (in-vitro), and preclinical research methodologies (in-vivo). The programme will focus on contemporary strategies to address antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and multidrug-resistant/extensively drug-resistant (MDR/XDR) pathogens under the One Health framework.
The workshop is intended for students, faculty members, researchers, and professionals from medical, life science, microbiology, and allied health disciplines. Participation is free of cost, with limited seats available. The last date for registration is 22 August 2026, and selected participants will be informed by 31 August 2026.
The workshop is organized by Pushpagiri Research Centre (PRC), Tiruvalla, with sponsorship from the Department of Health Research (DHR) and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
